Memorial T-Shirts

The Memorial T-Shirts are now available for order!  The shirts are white cotton with the memorial badge graphic over the front left breast and on the back is a picture of Mike with his name and dates.  Designed by Huy Truong, these shirts are a great way to remember our dear friend.

To order your shirt, make a check for $20 per shirt out to Huy Truong and send your checks to AMR Yolo Operations.  Please make sure that your info is on the check so we can get the shirts to the right people and also make sure you include your size in the memo section.  Order before Tuesday 2/16 and you can have your shirts in time for Machinefest on the 19th.

Anticipation Builds!

The feedback and excitement for Machinefest has been overwhelming.  Thank you to everyone offering to help out and to all those who are showing their enthusiasm.

As the date draws near and the energy builds, it's also important to remain focused on why we are going to be gathering at this great event.  Machinefest is a celebration of life...a time to be with friends and family as we remember our dear friend.

How can we best remember our friend Mike?  By having the kind of party Mike would have.  Great music, laughs, and of course, a sober night.  While we won't be having alcohol at the party, that's definitely not going to stop us from having a good time.

Bring your fond memories, laughs, and dancing shoes.  It's going to be a party to remember.

The VFW Hall...Our Gracious Hosts

The setting of our AMR Holiday party from 2007, the VFW hall once again opens it doors to us for this wonderful celebration of life.

Along with a delicious dinner fare, the event will include music, deserts, and drinks.  The VFW is graciously providing refreshments, so no need to bring your own drinks.

Worried about space?  Don't be...this magnificent hall can provide enough space for dinner, dancing and whatever else the night may have in store for us.

What Is Machinefest?

Machinefest is not an event…Machinefest is THE event.  A gathering of great people to celebrate the life of an even greater man.  With music in the air, drinks in our hands, and smiles on our faces, we will unite at one time and in one location, and with a single voice shout out to the world what The Machine meant to us all.

The magnificent dinner fare buffet, which will entice and enthrall your taste buds, will do battle with the amazing harmonics and rhythms laid down by the DJ behind the turntables as they both try to lay claim as the conqueror of your senses.  Does it matter who wins?  Hardly…as anyone present will attest…everyone at Machinefest is a winner.

Come early…come late…come in between…bring your wife, your husband and your neighbor.  To not bring guests to this event would be like saying to the world “I care not for my fellow man!”
